Are you competitive or creative?

We all have a choice to be creative or competitive. What we choose makes the difference in our outlook upon life and how we view our role. The greatest question Albert Einstein ever presented was the query: We need to ask this very important question…Is the Universe a friendly place. The answer that only we as individuals can state determines how we view this time we have on our planet. If we choose, as I have, that the Universe is a friendly place and is there to be able to provide me with everything that I want and need to grow and develop then a set of expectations have been established that my thoughts will create a friendly place.

On the other hand if you view the Universe as unfriendly then a new set of expectations will occur that makes the Universe a “dog eat dog world “and one to master, one you must conqueror to survive. It is surviving this life versus living this life. Competition assumes that we are not One, and are apart from the Source of Energy that permeates all things. It purports that we are separate beings in need of beating each other for the limited supply of whatever we seek, money, affection, power and fame. As humans we need to “make our mark on the world” while seeking to have control over others and make them “see things our way”, while seeking to control ourselves and those around us. It exudes a life of conflict and conflict resolution.

By co-creating with Universe we can have the abundance that a living Deity has expected us to obtain. It is our design to grow and to promote life without competition or conflict resolution. We need only to accept life on life’s terms, live in the present moment with gratitude for being in the moment and having our thoughts on how we can best help the Eternal Source create   the life we have that glorifies the Source and can best move all of mankind to the next level of existence. We all can reach a level that all of the Thoughts of all mankind are about Peace, Love and Understanding is achieved in our World. Through living a life with purposeful thinking we can live without competition, knowing the world is a friendly, abundant place where everyone can be fulfilled, enlightened and live as One.

Bend and stretch, reach for the sky

Whenever a system gets overloaded the system has to change and grow larger or it ceases to exist. Life is created to grow and expand. When a seed grows it breaks out of its casing and expands into the ground to build first a twig, then a plant or a tree. The seed has no choice, it has to grow and to expand, its role is to become something different and reach towards the Heavens.

A plant does not argue or disagree with its role it just does what it was set out to do, grow and develop. It even will put all of its efforts to face the light that feeds it and makes it grow. It will use what is around it to complete its task of becoming a plant or a tree and in the end it will perpetuate itself by producing other seeds and continuing the process from here to eternity. It knows of no hardships, it recognizes no failures it simply grows. With no other purpose but to become what it sets out to do it succeeds until it comes to the end of its life and a new tree or plant takes its place.

We as fellow human beings on this planet have the same purpose. We are to row and glorify the Universal Mind. Your definition on what that looks like to you can be inserted here but the results are the same. Our purpose on this planet is to be the very best we can be to bring joy and happiness along with love into the world and to lift the entire planet to a higher level. How we do that is through humor, love and gratitude. By being grateful we can elevate our space allow our surroundings to provide the nurturing our Souls desire and give our seeds a chance to reach towards the heavens and flourish.

As humans we need to take a tip from the plants and define our purpose, seek nourishment from our surroundings and complete the goal of reaching toward our Source of light and enery everyday. A system that does not do this will wither away and perish. Lets grow and produce more seeds for the future of our planet and life as we do not know it now.

Do we all have our cross to carry?

On this Good Friday, it is important to remember the significance of this time of year. It represents a time for a new beginning and a spiritual renewal of our core beliefs and thoughts. The story of Jesus’ death of the body is compelling one because it let’s us know that this plane of existence is but a temporary one and that we all need to look at the larger picture of our infinite existence and everlasting life. This body we use for this playtime on earth is fleeting yet seems so real that we spend a lot of time being concerned about our time on the slide or the swing.

We can take an opportunity at this time of year to examine the thoughts and beliefs that increase our belief in separation and those that cause us to live in anger and fear. By self discovery and lowering our resistance to what life has to offer we can use this time for spiritual growth and enlightenment. Many can look at the cross that seems to represent the Christian faith and determine that it is the struggle and the death of our bodies that is the important thought this season. The symbol can and is misleading if we look to the physical plain of existence. Would it not be wonderful to view this as a time to bid farewell to the thoughts and actions we take that appear to be resistance to our completion as being of the Whole.

The beauty of this junction in our lives is that we can resurrect the idea of Oneness and decrease our resistance to the Universal Truth. We can bask in love and joy today with the knowledge that our growth is eternal. We can bring forth the abundance that is offered to us and look for the similarities of our fellow humans in this human race. The Human race is not about being first but just being One. Let us all be renewed, resurrected and rejuvenated this Easter season.

Changing your thoughts

Changing your thoughts and beliefs can be a lifetime process. We are constantly bombarded by others thoughts and beliefs and we can either be true to our own set of beliefs or adapt another. An example of this is our concept of country and sovereign states. We all know we live on the same planet that we call Earth. We know that that any boundaries made on this planet are designed by man and those we give the power too. Why then do we look upon countries and say one is third world, one a super power and another may be in an “Axis of evil”. They are manifestations of other peoples beliefs and boundaries, but we respect that and give it power. Our Inner beliefs may be some of the same shared beliefs.

We are identified in our culture by our gender, yet do we not have some of the same characteristics of both sexes? I am male yet I can be an artist and also change the plugs on my car. Both can be extremes of gender identification We need some of our beliefs for outside recognition and to belong to a society but our Inner beliefs about ourselves and others do not need the restrictions of society. How can I embrace my entire self? It starts with knowing and understanding the patterns of thought make up who we are. We indentify each part for what its role is in our being. An example is our ego, a term we use to encompass our outer personality. Can we survive without an ego? I would think not as this is what others see and exhibits certain control from our baser instincts. But if the ego is left unchecked and unbalanced do we experience difficulties, yes we do. So we learn to appreciate each and every part our Inner Self and give a greater definition of its role to our growth and well being. We give the ego permission to hold in check our baser instincts but restrict it from taking over our creative thinking and seeking the Truth.

To change our thoughts and beliefs we need to replace old ideas with more productive ideas. Affirmations of what we want to grow and develop in our Inner Self and to be of service to others. A denial process of those thought and beliefs that do not support our growth and development is essential to relearn and reprogram our long held beliefs and to change them. Daily working on choosing the right thoughts and ideas are needed for long lasting growth and to develop a pattern of thinking that allows us to be an observer and participant in life and enjoy our time here on this one planet, Earth.

How your thoughts effort your life

Choosing your thoughts wisely can open the doors to increased spiritual growth. We co-create the One, our personal environment around us. A good indicator of how far we have traveled as Spiritual Beings to take an inner look at the circumstance and people we have attracted to our life. For many this can be an eye opening experience, if we look and see many situations and relationships we would not have chosen otherwise. The truth is we have attracted those around us. They reflect our inner most thoughts and beliefs. Enjoy those people around you because they are whom you are seeking and reflect back to you your inner state.

If you look and say “I attracted that???” then you need to clarify your thoughts either about them or identify what false beliefs and thought patterns we have held. It is easiest to look at them first, so that is where we will start. What can the people around you do to provide Inner Growth and strength? Are they setting a bad example to you so that you do not follow there path? Most likely they reflect in you the traits you most have hidden and are in denial about. Each one of the people we relate closest too can be a mirror to our Inner most conflicted thoughts and beliefs. Those that make us the angriest of fear the most have reflected our own fears and anxieties. We see in them those buried emotions and thoughts that at one point in time served us well but do not on the pathway to Discovery and enlightenment. By recognizing we have the same traits they have and they are here to allow us to grow we then take a look at what they reflect in out thought patterns and beliefs.

So let’s change our thoughts and beliefs. That is an easy thing to say and write, but the execution of that statement can be a difficult one. It takes a careful examination of the beliefs about our selves and the world around us before we start. The longer the belief is held the stronger it becomes. Not that we cannot change it immediately, but typically the underlying thought behind it is buried in other thoughts and beliefs. We need to own all of Inner Self, the things we label as bad and good will block our progress. We need to make peace with our inner souls and move to a place as the quiet observer to be able to clarify our thoughts and change our present and future direction.

Whats so crazy about peace, love and understanding

We tend to examine the world like an old time scientist that sought to prove the theorem of the day throughout his entire life. We look at a linear equation and try to look for a missing variable that makes sense of what we see in front of us. We see a solid wall, a chair, a desk and buildings and make the theory that they are build of solid materials and that they are what we see with our eyes. Modern science is agreeing that what we actually see is a mass of energy working to make a solid object that looks how we perceive it and want it to be. We strive to fit solids together like a dove tailed joint so that we can have a dimensional understanding of them.

We also do the same with our beliefs and emotional responses. We strive to make sense of the world and make it reflect what we believe about it. The last decade has been a fear based emotional upheaval for the United States and the world as a whole. We have politicians that reflect that fear and have preyed on that very visceral emotional response to govern our country and engage the rest of the world. A fear based theory of looking at life will reflect in our everyday outlook on life and make solid the energy of what events take place in history at the same way we create walls, chairs, desks and buildings.

In this scenario we create a fearful world and nature supplies the events that we dictate to happen, social unrest and duality of individuals and governments and even seeming natural disasters that gladly exhibit that our fears are founded and expect more to happen. With our emotions based in fear how can we not create an environment that fear increases and reflects our beliefs about the world? We have seen an increase in activism on both the political left and the right making the beliefs in a pluralistic society appears real.

We have to create a new society that understands it molds the world around us and can see how our influence, even on a small level has an impact world wide and start the process of bringing the world to a higher spiritual level, a greater plain of understanding and seeking to act as One rather than a mass of individuals looking for meaning in our wall, chairs, desks and buildings.

A World in need of change

We are bombarded with choices in today world. On a daily basis we made hundreds, even thousands of decisions, some important and some with less of an impact on the entire world. The ability to make choices is a right of passage into adulthood and begins from the time we are able to communicate to others as a child. How we make our choices are the determining factor of what makes the human reality we live in. Let’s look at how our choices reflect our Inner Self and how this has an impact on the entire world.

Affirming our Divinity on a daily basis and in our everyday choices can make a huge difference on our world and the world of those around us. By Prayer and Meditation we can explore our Inner Peace and the influence our beliefs and can change our Faith. Our Faith is an accumulation of our beliefs and something that we know to be true. Regardless of the outside circumstance we can have our Faith is being directed to our highest good and that whatever difficulties we may have they are learning experiences to be examined and move past to a new level of understanding.
Our beliefs about life and death should change throughout the years as we grow and gain the experiences of life’s lessons. Knowledge is not enough in the process of opening the Heart and the higher Mind to enhanced growth and enlightenment. A process of examination of our beliefs and observing our behavior from a higher consciousness is very important in any type of Spiritual development. Our moments in meditation and observation should challenge our belief and expand our Faith which all knowing part of us that grows and expands as time passes. Through this higher consciousness we learn choices and direct our life to be able to be at One with the Universe and be of assistance to mankind.

It is an important time in the world development. As we grow through the information age to a stage of enlightenment our choices are even more important. A true understanding of our own Divinity and our place in the changing and developing world is more important now as it was in the past. Let us all make Inner Guided choices and change the world together.
